Description:

The PTZ-6000 long range PTZ camera solution is custom built to every customer, to meet the specifications of the long range application. The setup of the ptz system is built around very high level components like:

Pan tilt:
The IP66 pan tilt with built-in RS485 Pelco D controller is a heavy duty step motor pan tilt that can carry up to 25 Kg. The pan run 360° endless rotation with built-in sliprings to transfeer the power, telemetry and video. The pan/tilt have a wide range speed from slow speed 0,1° to high speed 50° and a very high accuracy of pan: 0.010°, tilt 0.00630°. The pan tilt controller supports "Absolute position" to read and set the PTZF.

Housing:
The very large IP66 housing made of aluminum and stainless fittings can house the largest motorized lenses up to 1000mm (2xext 2000mm). The housing can be equipped with Wiper, Washer, Double sunshield, Heater with fan, circulation fan and other options.

Lens:
The PTZ-6000 surveillance camera system can be ordered with 60X zoom 12,5-750mm with motorized 2X extender (25-1500mm), X50 zoom 20-1000mm and 16,7-1000mm with motorized 2X extender 33,4-2000mm or other large zoom lenses of your choice. Some lenses can run auto focus.

Camera:
The normally used camera is a very high sensitive 1/3" Effio Wide dynamic camera or 1/2" Exview ccd camera. For applications where extreme sensitivity is needed a EMCCD camera can be installed.

IR illumination:
Infrared LED or laser illuminators can be installed, ask for illumination solutions.

Options:

		Auto focus Auto focus is now available on a few large zoom lenses. The auto focus works as one push. When focus is needed a command is send to run the auto focus function. Auto focus is nice to have on a PTZ system but it is need to have on a PTZ system that are operated by IP due to the delay of the network.

		See through fog, rain, snow, sand If the "See through option" is choosen the PTZ-6000 system will be able to see through fog, rain, snow, sand and other enviromental factors that lowers the visibility. The live enhancer circuit is installed in the ptz solution and can be turned on and off by a aux command. The result of the video processing is very impressive, see the demonstration video below on this page.

		Wiper The housing can be delivered with a built-in internally mounted wiper motor and external wiper arm. The wiper is turned by a command from the Pelco D protocol and when turned off the wiper will self park in the side of the window.

		Hot climate option, Double sunshield The housing can be delivered with a double sunshield as an extra isolation to avoid overheating from the sun rays. The sunshield is made as a clip on type to ease the cleaning and service of the camera housing.

		Cold climate option, Heater with fan The housing can be delivered with a built-in camera housing heater, not the standard window heater, but a heater element that heat up the housing above freeze temperture. The heat from the automatic regulated heater element is ventilated around the housing with a fan.

		Internal fan The housing can be delivered with a built-in fan to remove hot spots in the housing generated by camera heat or other sources of heat. The fan will equal the heat around the housing.

		Color and coating The system can be delivered in many colors and coatings. Color of the PTZ system can be important if ex. the system should blend in a building. The color can also be a factor if the ptz should be very visible to work preventive. For marine or other harsh environments the system can be delivered with a very strong coating to extent the lifetime of the camera housing

		IR laser illuminator (Discontinued) The long range ptz camera system can be delivered with infrared laser illuminators.

		IR LED illuminator The long range ptz camera setup can be installed with infrared LED illuminators. Depending of the camera and lens used the laser illumination can illuminate up to 400 meter.


		Washer The long range ptz camera system can be delivered washer units. The camera washers are available in stainless steel and in various lift hight and size of water container. Datasheet

		Heavy Duty Tripod This Heavy Duty Tripod can load 80 Kg. It is made of aluminum and can be setup to a hight between 750mm and 1250mm. The transport weight of the Tripod is approx. 11 Kg Datasheet

		Keyboard The PTZ camera can be delivered with a 3 axis keyboard that can control up to 255 PTZ cameras. 128 preset positions and absolute position readout. The keyboard is running RS485 (option RS422) and Pelco D protocol.
