2B Delivers a wide range of high quality pan tilt units, small and large size, heavy duty and special units made in stainless steel or painted in special colors or coated with specific surface materials for applications like PTZ surveillance cameras

The most important specification when selecting a Pan and tilt is of cause the over all quality and the IP rating as the most applications is outdoor. Also the load power should not be underestimated as the unit also need to operate in all weather conditions and the wind also influence on the load on the head.

Pan tilt units for IP cameras

Many IP camera is equipped with a RS485 output, that data output can be connected directly to the pan tilt if the pan/tilt is delivered with built-in telemetry receiver.


Heavy duty pan tilt for long range surveillance PTZ cameras

Long range surveillance PTZ cameras with large zoom lenses need a heavy duty pan tilt. In our PTZ-6000 system is used a large PT-3000 series pan tilt with built-in telemetry receiver, see video below:

Cable connected pan/tilt joystick controller.

For some pan tilt applications a telemetry system with receivers and a telemetry keyboard is not needed. Some systems just need to cable the pan tilt to a local keyboard.

If the pan tilt is mounted on top of a car or a mobile system with a pan tilt mounted on a tripod with the operator beside these cabled solutions with be the right setup.

AC units
AC heads are typically used for fixed speed applications.

DC units
DC units are typically used for variable speed applications.

Side mount / top mount
Many units can be ordered with the selection of side mount or top mount.
Top mount is very useful if IR lamps or other equipment will be mounted on the side of the unit.
Side mount can typically carry more load compared to top mount.

Load calculation
When calculating the needed load power of the unit it should not be underestimated as the unit need to operate in all weather conditions and the wind also influence on the load on the head.

IP rating
Our outdoor units are typically rated IP66, IP67, IP68.

High speed
Many of our units can be ordered with different speed options, when selecting more speed the unit will load less kgs.

Limit switches
The limit switches on the heads can be adjusted so the unit is limited to operate in the area you have selected.

Feed back potentiometers
The unit can be ordered with feedback potentiometers. The feedback potentiometers supply a voltage readout that can be used as reference to what position the head is positioned and by use of that voltage the telemetry receiver / controller can be preset programmed.

Presets
Most controllers can be programmed with presets, the above described feedback potentiometers will be used by the controller to set the preset position.

Controllers for fixed speed and variable speed
To control the head a controller / telemetry reciever is needed and this controller can then be controlled by a keyboard or matrix system. AC controllers for AC units (fixed speed) and DC controllers for DC units (variable speed).

PTZ camera stations

2B delivers custom made PTZ camera stations for many different kind of applications. These large camera stations are used for long range cctv sites and are typically delivered withmotorized cctv lenses ranging from 500 mm up to 2000 mm.

2B can deliver camera stations plug and play. Camera and lens mechanical fitted and assampled in the camera housing, adjusted back focus, XY allignment and tested.
